Our Community has suggested Crowdfunding to cover the costs of recent illegal traveller encampment at Sean Devereux Park

We have this week received the invoice from the Bailiffs the club had to employ to evict the recent illegal traveller encampment on our ground at Sean Devereux Park. This totalled over £5,000 which, coupled with the financial undertaking the clean-up of the disgusting mess they left behind, has hit the club hard.

As a club, we spend a great deal of time and effort, performed entirely by volunteers, in raising funds to take the club forward in both its provision of football for our 20 youth and 6 adult teams and the creation of a Community Sports & Wellness Centre for use by our Community.

It is extremely frustrating and disappointing that the funds raised will now have to cover these extra costs. Following on from the £5k invoice received, our Community suggested Crowdfunding.
